Are you our new tennis coach?

Snarøya Tennisklubb is seeking one or two new coaches for our tennis school program. We have many active junior and senior players, and upcoming talents with high tennis ambitions.

The coaches we are seeking will be part of a coaching team contributing to the clubs’s needs and programs. You will be part of a hard working team coaching all age groups in the club.

About Snarøya Tennisklubb:

Snarøya Tennisklubb's vision is: "being a club for life". Our goal is to recruit all age groups to this magnificant and fun sport, provide for good tennis programs at all levels and age groups. Also, we seek to offer professional programs for junior players/talents who want to take tennis to the next level.

The club was founded in 1971 and has approximately 530 members. It is located in beautiful surroundings 10 km from Oslo and close to the sea. Snarøya Tennisklubb has throughout the years developed high ranking junior and senior players. Many of these have also been college players and international ATP players. Our most successful player per today is Casper Ruud, with an ATP ranking no. 25. His father, Christian Ruud, was also a renowned Norwegian player on the ATP tour in his earlier days.

The club has 5 clay courts and 3 hardcourts. In the winter we have a dome covering the 3 hardcourts. We have recently been granted permission to set up another dome over two of the clay courts, which during the autumn will be replaced with artificial clay (Top Sand).

This means even more tennis during the winter for all our members, and also the possibility to build a stronger professional program for our tournament players and upcoming talents both summer and winter.

The social and working environment in Snarøya Tennisclub is very good. Currently the team consists of a Manager and three coaches. In addition, the club has an active and dedicated board.
